Hi, I'm Lianne

It’s no surprise that baskets are one of the easiest ways to keep your home tidy while looking beautiful. Baskets can store can store so many things from decor and nicknacks to linens to dirty laundry… Sharing a few of my favorite ways to utilize baskets in my home. All baskets pictured can be found from Artera Home.

Using a basket as a tree stand is one of my favorite ways. Throw some cozy blankets for texture and to hide the unsightly bases and you’re good to go. This basket is part of a set of three and the sizes are so good. Short enough to get tucked under a bench or sideboard cabinet, but large enough to hold so much! I have the middle size on under my dining room credenza to hold all of my table linens.

Another tree, another basket…This one was out of necessity actually. I love these small tabletop trees, but unfortunately the base of this one got moldy in storage. Simple solution, put it in a basket. Here’s a little secret — I used my daughter’s sweater to hold it in place and close up any gaps. It looks so beautiful and cozy — Just need to add some of my favorite fairy lights.

Check back on Instagram this week for a tutorial on making your own dried citrus garland.

One basket styled three ways. Another basket that comes in a set of three, and the best part? The largest basket comes with a lid. I love this one in my living room and actually use it to store my kid’s Magna-Tiles. The lid keeps them hidden but easy access to play whenever they want.

Artera Home baskets are all handmade and ethically sourced from Vietnam. They work using sustainable materials like rattan, seagrass and bamboo that are not only beautiful, but bring unmatched function to your home without compromising aesthetic. Read more about their process here.

While I’m still working my way through holiday decor, follow along how these spaces come to life with the help of Artera Home. Next up, my little’s bunk room!
